Kratos Space Training & Cyber is seeking a skilled BIM Engineer to develop detailed REVIT and CAD models that enable seamless collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, fabrication, and construction teams. You will transform complex design inputs into precise 3D models and ensure integration of mechanical, structural, and electrical systems within large defense and simulation programs.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with AutoDesk Revit to generate BIM models.
• Experience creating BIM workflows and managing BIM data.
• Proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling from sketches and specs.
• Experience with clash-detection tools (Navisworks).
• Knowledge of ASME Y14.1 and Y14.5 GD&T standards.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.

Responsabilités

• Generates and collaborates in drawings, models, and documentation for manufacturing and testing.
• Interprets sketches, specs, markups, calculations into detailed 2D/3D drawings.
• Applies REVIT and BIM best practices to create precise representations.
• Ensures drawings convey required information for fabrication and construction.
• Identifies design risks and proposes mitigation strategies.
• Collaborates with engineers to ensure system integration feasibility.
