Job summary

Zenith Systems, LLC in Ohio seeks an Electrical Virtual Designer to join our VDC/BIM team. You will apply building codes and engineering standards within a BIM workflow, developing 3D construction drawings and collaborating with customers and tradespeople.

The ideal candidate has strong Revit and AutoCAD MEP experience, excellent communication, and a proactive work ethic to support projects from concept through installation across our electrical design practice.

Qualifications

• In-depth working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD MEP.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to coordinate BIM models and resolve clashes.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and deploy 3D architectural models and content.
• Understand and implement project specifications.
• Coordinate BIM clashes with other trade models.
• Prepare construction submittals and details.
• Attend meetings to address design and installation issues.
• Convey project requirements to team members and trades.
• Learn and utilize BIM software: Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD.
