Job summary

Northland Concrete & Masonry is seeking a Project Engineer / BIM Modeler in Minnesota to bridge technology and construction. You will develop 2D layouts and 3D BIM models, review drawings for issues, and coordinate with trades to turn plans into practical field solutions.

You will support quantity takeoffs, estimating, and preconstruction activities, while helping schedule and sequence work across a range of commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and analytical mindset for translating drawings into field-ready plans.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Willingness to collaborate with project teams across office and field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 2D layouts and 3D BIM models using Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp.
• Review drawings and models for coordination, constructability, scope, and design issues.
• Coordinate with structural steel, precast, elevators, and other trades.
• Prepare RFIs, drawing revisions, ASIs, submittals, and scope changes.
• Create visuals, layouts, elevations, and models for field teams.
