Buro Happold is seeking a Plumbing and Fire Protection Intern in Pittsburgh for Summer 2027. You will support the engineering team in designing, modeling, and collaborating on building projects, gaining hands-on experience in system design and BIM modeling.

This role offers exposure to industry standards, site visits, and a salary-based internship with a focus on sustainable practice and multidisciplinary teamwork.

Formación

• Currently pursuing a degree in mechanical, fire protection, civil, sanitary, environmental or architectural engineering.
• Familiarity with BIM modeling software and building systems design.
• Interest in sustainable design practices and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the design of plumbing and fire protection systems under supervision of a senior engineer.
• Contribute to BIM modeling of construction drawings from schematic design through construction administration.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project coordination and site visits.
