Job summary

Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) seeks an expert-level engineer to lead statewide BIM and Digital Delivery programs. You will direct Digital Twin strategies, provide technical leadership, and support across engineering and construction phases.

Location: Taylorsville, UT. Requires PE licensure in Utah and 4 years post-licensure experience with strong BIM and leadership skills. In-office role with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Current PE licensure in Utah.
• 4 years of engineering experience post-licensure.
• Demonstrated BIM, Digital Delivery and team leadership expertise.

Responsibilities

• BIM & Digital Delivery Strategy: Lead BIM program and direct Digital Delivery and Digital Twin strategies across projects.
• Team & Operations Management: Supervise BIM staff and oversee ORD workflows, digital design review, and data integration with pay systems.
• Contracts & Grant Management: Manage consultant contracts, scopes, budgets, and federal grant applications/compliance.
• Industry Collaboration: Serve as UDOT liaison for pooled fund studies and FHWA peer exchanges.
