Job summary

Fisk Electric, a Tutor Perini Company, in Dallas, TX is seeking a BIM Designer to join our VDC team. This role focuses on developing, coordinating, and reviewing BIM models for complex construction projects using Revit and Navisworks.

You’ll manage central models, lead clash detection, ensure QA, mentor peers, and support field teams with prefabrication and layout exports. Proficiency in ACC, BIM execution plans, and digital tools is required; travel 5–10% and onsite work as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years of Revit/BIM experience or 7+ years in electrical construction.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and Navisworks; ACC experience.
• Proficiency with advanced Revit MEP features and BIM execution plans.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite and Bluebeam.
• Ability to use digital layout and scanning tools.
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Team-oriented with leadership potential.
• Willingness to travel 5–10% and work onsite as needed.
• Experience in healthcare, commercial, industrial, or mission-critical projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Model, maintain, and coordinate BIM models in Revit and Navisworks.
• Lead or support clash detection and coordination meetings; assist field crews.
• Perform quality checks for accuracy and adherence to standards; ensure BIM plans are followed.
• Mentor junior team members; document updates and share lessons learned.
• Apply advanced Revit MEP features and leverage digital tools to improve constructability.
