Job summary

Performance Contracting Group is seeking a Design Engineer for its Los Angeles Interior 557 operations, based in Anaheim, CA. The role focuses on BIM coordination, model creation, and clash resolution to support complex interior projects.

You will lead BIM coordination efforts, review design docs, run clash detection, and collaborate with engineers, architects and clients to ensure accurate models and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in computer aided drafting and design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Architecture 2015, Revit and Navisworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Architecture or Engineering.
• Ability to understand design and document coordination.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate BIM coordination meetings.
• Coordinate BIM logistics (Contracts, Emails, File sharing, etc.).
• Review and document design documents and coordination conflicts.
• Run and analyze clash detection on federated model.
• Communicate conflicts in model; both real and potential.
• Prepare and distribute clash reports to facilitate the coordination process.
• Schedule and facilitate coordination meetings with operations staff.
• Facilitate subcontractor communication in and out of meetings.
• Facilitate sign off and submittal of coordinated area.
• Site inspection and liaison with trade contractors.
• Meet with engineers, architects and/or clients to review models as needed.
