Job summary

Swanson Rink, Inc. in Denver is seeking a BIM Coordinator to join a team of engineers, clients and subconsultants on large, complex projects.

You will support BIM execution planning, coordinate with leads, and help translate design intent into coordinated models using Revit and related tools. This full-time, in-office position emphasizes collaboration, attention to detail and adherence to project workflows.

Qualifications

• This position is fully in office.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Associate degree or technical training with courses in Revit and four years of experience or equivalent combination.
• High proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD; Autodesk certification preferred.
• Basic understanding with Navisworks and BIM 360 families of software for coordination.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam preferred.
• Must pass background checks or security screening and be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to BIM Execution Plans and project workflow criteria.
• Assist BIM Leads on projects and details.
• Develop and gain experience with BIM Execution Plans.
• Participate in BIM Coordination meetings on assigned projects.
• Coordinate with other disciplines regarding changes and model challenges.
• Utilize Revit, Sysque and Revit Routing Preferences to meet company needs.
• Develop BIM modeling content such as families and schedules.
• Assist in packaging models, redlines and assigning work to BIM Technicians.
• Translate between AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks to produce organized media.
• Interpret drawings to identify space constraints using clash detection platforms.
