Capstone Mechanical is seeking a BIM Draftsman to transform construction documents into constructible shop drawings and spool sheets. You will work with architects, customers, and vendors to support material purchasing and field coordination.
Responsibilities include creating shop drawings with AutoCAD, generating material reports, and coordinating with the project management team while visiting sites to capture field conditions and ensure design accuracy.
This position requires strong CAD skills as well as the ability to communicate with all personnel on the design team, including architects, customers, and vendors. The BIM draftsman will be responsible for creating shop drawings, spool sheets and itemized reports for material purchasing.
Educational Requirements: A.A.S. in Drafting and Design or greater is preferred
Experience Requirements: 2 years in a construction trade

Working Conditions: The primary work environment is an air-conditioned office setting. On occasion it is required to work non-air-conditioned spaces, roofs, ladders, vertical lifting equipment, and subject to all weather conditions.
