Job summary

LSW Engineers is seeking a BIM Coordinator to support mechanical and electrical design teams by developing and maintaining accurate BIM models throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional BIM coordination or modeling experience using Revit in an MEP or AEC context.
• Experience producing construction drawings for mechanical and/or electrical building systems.
• Strong collaboration and coordination across multiple disciplines within BIM environments.
• Must be comfortable working full-time in a collaborative on-site BIM coordination environment.
• Experience with semiconductor, mission-critical, or large-scale commercial projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Revit BIM models for mechanical and/or electrical building systems in coordination with engineering design teams.
• Produce accurate construction drawings and project documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Coordinate MEP models with architectural, structural, and other disciplines' teams to ensure proper system integration and spatial clearance.
• Incorporate engineer and designer markups into BIM models accurately and on schedule.
• Run clash detection reviews using Navisworks and resolve model conflicts.
• Ensure all models and drawings comply with company BIM standards and project documentation requirements.
• Support preparation of construction documentation packages and project deliverable milestones.
• Maintain organized project files and revision history throughout the design process.
• Participate in coordination meetings and communicate clearly with project team members and consultants.
• Actively seek workflow improvements and contribute to BIM process development within the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Revit BIM models for mechanical and/or electrical building systems in coordination with engineering design teams.
• Produce accurate construction drawings and project documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Coordinate MEP models with architectural, structural, and other disciplines' teams to ensure proper system integration and spatial clearance.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• 5+ years of professional BIM coordination or modeling experience using Revit in an MEP or AEC context.
• Demonstrated experience producing construction drawings for mechanical and/or electrical building systems.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD; experience with Navisworks for clash detection and model review.
• Solid understanding of MEP system layouts, equipment coordination, and building infrastructure within BIM environments.
• Experience coordinating across multiple disciplines in a BIM environment.
• Strong attention to detail; ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be comfortable working full-time in a collaborative on-site BIM coordination environment.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment Revit software evaluation.
• Experience with semiconductor, mission critical, or large-scale commercial projects is a plus.
