Job summary

Buro Happold seeks a BIM & Computational Intern to join the Building Environments design team in a learning-focused role. You’ll start with foundational BIM skills and progressively tackle advanced tasks, mentored by industry experts on projects like sustainable buildings and smart systems.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Associates degree or above in Architecture or Engineering with a BIM background.
• Familiarity with BIM software such as Autodesk Revit preferred.
• Basic understanding of MEP systems and their integration in building design.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and modifying 3D BIM models for MEP systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• Collaborate with project team to ensure accurate modelling practices.
• Support coordination and clash detection to resolve conflicts between MEP and building elements.
• Produce drawings, schedules, and reports from the BIM model.
• Maintain and organize BIM files following company standards.
