Qualifications

• Proficient in 3D modeling or CAD design software.
• Understanding of electrical principles and construction standards preferred.
• Ability to collect highly accurate point cloud and Survey data for use in design and construction.
• Ability to apply knowledge of transmission, substation, and distribution design principles.
• Ability to apply knowledge of architectural and engineering design plans.

Responsibilities

• Produces complex 2D drawing plans and 3D models of civil, mechanical, architectural, structural, electrical, and other assets.
• Designs technical drawings, visualization models, and maintains related records; updates BIM & CAD system data and databases.
• Verifies engineering drawings, CAD, and GIS information with field data.
• Creates output from Design systems, including plots, reports, and drawings for departments and contractors.
• Collaborates across Engineering, Technology Services, Operations, and external partners.
