Job summary

Visa Hunt is seeking a Billing Technical Analyst to support the design, testing, and implementation of billing processes, ensuring timely and accurate customer billing. This role combines technical skills with financial insight to drive improvements and compliance.

The analyst will perform UAT for system releases, document results, and collaborate with other departments to maintain billing accuracy and policy adherence, including DoI rules and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years accounting or business analytics experience (Billing Technical Analyst I) required.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent technical skills, including understanding of Billing workflows of Duck Creek or similar systems; ability to write clear documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design, testing and implementation of billing processes ensuring timely and accurate customer billing.
• Perform user acceptance testing of billing functionality for system releases using predefined test plans and scripts to identify defects.
• Document results to track and communicate outcomes; perform follow-up testing as needed.
• Investigate and resolve billing system discrepancies and errors.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure billing accuracy.
• Ensure invoices reflect terms and conditions and comply with Department of Insurance rules.
• Identify opportunities to improve billing policies and procedures.
• Prepare and present analytical reports to identify trends and metrics.
• Monitor billing invoices and forms generation cycles and alert management of failures.
• Manage ad hoc customer billing and respond to inquiries on bills.
• Provide coverage for team members as needed.
• Participate in cross-training to ensure continuity of operations.
