Job summary

American Electric Power is seeking a senior technology leader to direct and deliver technology solutions for Credit, Collections, Revenue Management, Large Customer Billing, and Meter-to-Cash processes. You will partner with business leaders to align roadmaps with operational objectives and customer needs.

You will lead diverse teams, drive safety and compliance, oversee budgets, and ensure reliable infrastructure and cybersecurity while building inclusive, high-performance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a technical field.
• 8+ years of technology experience; 4-6 years of direct supervision preferred.
• On-site role with safety, compliance, and cyber security requirements.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning.

Responsibilities

• Build and foster strategic technology relationships with operating companies and business leaders.
• Provide safety leadership and ensure compliance with policies and CIP standards.
• Direct finances: forecast, plan, and manage departmental O&M and capital budgets.
• Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning for the Technology organization.
