Job summary

Nabors, based in Houston, is seeking a Senior Billing Coordinator to lead day-to-day billing activities for assigned units. You will create and review invoices, help resolve complex billing issues, and support timely, accurate processing and submission of invoices.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in billing/AR with major ERP experience, plus strong Excel skills and the ability to train and guide junior staff.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of billing or accounts receivable experience using a major ERP system such as Oracle, PeopleSoft, or SAP
• 2+ years in a senior-level billing role with lead responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of contract billing specifications, pricing structures, and billing triggers
• Experience with third-party eInvoicing systems such as Visual Manufacturing, D365, Oracle, or similar
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills for billing trackers and reconciliations

Responsibilities

• Create and review customer invoices and credit memos for assigned business unit reporting segments using ERP systems and billing platforms
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex billing questions and contract interpretation issues
• Coordinate daily billing priorities and assist with workload balancing and month-end deadlines
• Review supporting documentation for completeness, approvals, pricing accuracy, and contract compliance
• Collaborate with field operations, marketing, collections, accounting, and eInvoicing teams to resolve disputes and submission issues
• Monitor timely invoice submission via email, mail, or electronic portals and track rebills/rejections
• Assist with training, onboarding, and guidance to Billing Coordinators
• Prepare billing trackers, audit support files, and ad hoc reporting
• Identify process improvements and participate in ERP/eInvoicing testing
• Back up the Billing Supervisor for non-managerial activities
