Job summary

Elation Health is seeking a Support Subject Matter Expert in Elation Billing. This hands-on role is embedded in our support queue, bringing practitioner-level RCM judgment to billing cases that cannot be resolved through scripted troubleshooting alone.

You will diagnose whether issues are product bugs, payer quirks, or workflow misconfigurations, and resolve them while collaborating with Product and Prod Dev to inform the roadmap.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on medical billing/RCM outside a support organization
• Fluent CPT/ICD-10 coding knowledge
• Experience with an EHR, practice management, or medical billing platform

Responsibilities

• Embed in the support queue as the billing expert, resolving complex cases with practitioner-level judgment.
• Own complex billing and revenue cycle cases involving CPT/ICD-10 logic, payer adjudication, and A/R workflows.
• Distinguish product bugs from configuration/workflow mismatches and resolve live cases accordingly.
• Collaborate with Product and Dev to feed recurring edge cases back into the roadmap.
• Contribute to and maintain billing knowledge base, SOPs, and macros for the team.
