University Behavioral Health of Denton is seeking a Billing Specialist for the Texas Business Center in Denton, TX. This full-time position offers a 40-hour week, full benefits, and a day schedule.

Eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus with a one-year commitment. The role involves writing up payments, entering notes in the system, and preparing cash-balancing reports while coordinating with the CFO and other departments.

Qualifications

Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience: 2+ years in insurance billing and CPT coding.
Experience with billing software and Excel is preferred.
Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Texas Business Center, located in Denton, TX just north of Dallas and Fort Worth, is seeking a dynamic and talented Billing Specialist. This position is responsible for writing up payments, entering notes into system and preparing and reviewing reports for cash balancing. Maintaining accurate cash logs, reviewing accounts financial transactions and communication with appropriate departments including CFO.

Qualifications

Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

Experience: A minimum of two (1) years experience in insurance billing and CPT coding. Any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital business office. Experience with billing, computers, and business software programs (Excel) preferred.

Additional Requirements: This position may require flexible hours, to include overtime.
