Job summary

NRG in Oklahoma City is seeking a Billing Specialist to manage day-to-day invoicing for a fast-paced retail energy business. You will ensure timely, accurate invoices, resolve billing issues, and collaborate with internal teams to support revenue recognition.

Open office environment or fully remote options are available, with occasional overtime for special projects. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business is preferred, along with 1–2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business required or 1–2 years of commensurate experience in the field.
• Analytical, mathematical and organizational abilities are essential.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is expected.

Responsibilities

• Review and resolve daily billing exceptions and inquiries.
• Remediate customer issues in a timely and accurate manner.
