Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to work with multiple billing programs.

Responsibilities

• File and follow up on primary and secondary claims promptly.
• Review explanation of benefits to identify denials.
• Post insurance payments, including electronic posting.
• Respond to inquiries from insurers, consumers, and providers.
• Prepare month-end reports and assist with monthly close.
• Follow up on denials and appeals to maximize reimbursement.
• Maintain patient records with verified insurance information.
