Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Reviews UB04s, CMS 1500s, and/or itemized statements for completeness, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Bills clean claims for Medicare and related services; bills secondary insurance when appropriate.
• Contacts employers, payers, and/or patients for updated claim information.
• Works rejection reports to correct demographics and re-bill as needed.
• Meets accuracy metrics and adheres to policies and procedures.
