Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Billing Specialist for a hybrid role in Gig Harbor, WA. The position offers $25 - $35 per hour and medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits. Candidate should have 2+ years in billing and experience with ERP systems to manage invoicing, tax, and AR tasks.

You will coordinate with project managers to ensure costs are captured, billable, and resolved efficiently while maintaining accurate AR records and customer communications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of billing experience, preferably dealing with contract billing.
• Experience with a large ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Oversee customer account set up.
• Manage Prevailing Wage intents.
• Review QuickBase and true up forecasts and soft close/hard close candidates.
• Request COI’s.
• Generate and deliver customer invoices and account statements.
• Work with project managers to ensure all costs are captured and billed appropriately and timely.
• Ensure accurate recording and collection of sales tax, where applicable, across multiple jurisdictions.
• Respond and resolve customer billing issues.
• Follow up on and collect outstanding customer balances.
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger and assist in preparing detailed accounts receivable status.
• Helps maintain customer accounts, files and records, including various customer portals.
• Professionally interact with internal and external customers.
• Route internal and external calls with providing a white glove communication experience.
• Other duties as assigned.
