Hendrick Automotive Group is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join the Charleston Accounting Team in North Charleston, SC. The role focuses on processing vehicle sales billing, posting transactions, and ensuring accurate cash receipts.

Ideal candidates have an Associate degree or equivalent experience, up to 3 years in billing or dealership settings, and proficiency in MS Office. Notary certification or willingness to obtain is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred (or equivalent training and experience).
• Up to 3 years of relevant experience; billing, dealership experience or DMV experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills; able to juggle multiple priorities.
• Notary Public certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Willing to learn the dealership management system and other software; training provided.
• Reliable attendance and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Process deals in accounting by reviewing paperwork for compliance.
• Verify that cash is received for vehicle sales.
• Reconcile manufacturer rebates and incentive receivables.
• Review, balance, and interpret computer reports and make corrections.
• Assist employees, vendors, clients, or customers with accounts, procedures, and services.
• Maintain CSI at or above company standards.
• Record all hours worked in the company timekeeping system.

As a Billing Specialist you will be responsible for processing billing for vehicles sold and to post sales. Pay: From $18.50 /hr.

What We’re Looking for:

• Associate degree preferred (or equivalent training and experience)
• We value the right combination of education and hands‑on experience
• Up to 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in a business environment Billing, dealership experience or DMV experience in a fast‑paced setting is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
