Job summary

Hendrick Automotive Group’s Charleston team is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to handle billing for vehicles sold and to post sales. The role requires accuracy, reliability, and flexibility with attendance. Training will be provided for dealership software and systems.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred (or equivalent training and experience).
• Notary Public certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Processes deals in accounting by reviewing the paperwork for compliance.
• Verifies that cash is received for vehicle sales
• Reconciles manufacturer rebate and incentive receivables
• Reviews, balances, and interprets computer reports, and makes corrections.
• Assists employees, vendors, clients, or customers by answering questions related to accounts, procedures, and services.
• Maintains CSI at or above company standards
• Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
• Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system
• Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist with to join our Accounting Charleston Team at Hendrick Automotive Group- The nation's largest privately held automotive group and a seventh-time #1 leader in U.S. online reputation!

As a Billing Specialist you will be responsible for processing billing for vehicles sold and to post sales.

Pay: From $18.50 /hr.

What We’re Looking for:

• Associate degree preferred (or equivalent training and experience)
• We value the right combination of education and hands-on experience
• Up to 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in a business environment
• Billing, dealership experience or DMV experience in a fast-paced setting is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person
• Strong organizational skills are essential—you'll be juggling multiple priorities
• Notary Public certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Eager to learn our dealership management system and other specialized software—we’ll provide training!
• This role requires reliable attendance and flexibility.
