What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage third-party billing and collections, ensuring timely and accurate billing of claims
- Identify and resolve root causes of billing rejections to maximize reimbursement
- Process medical and NCPDP claims, including home infusion and nursing claims
- Maintain productivity levels and meet quality assurance benchmarks as defined by management
- Communicate effectively with patients, payors, and outside agencies through various correspondence methods

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- One to three years of related prior work experience in a team-oriented environment
- Strong customer service background and effective problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of medical billing practices, payer reimbursement guidelines, and insurance policies
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and basic understanding of ICD-10, CPT-4, and HCPCS

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in collections or medical billing with knowledge of Medicare billing requirements specific to DMEMAC
- Familiarity with HCN 360 and/or CPR+
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong communication skills
