Job summary

TalentBridge in Gainesville, GA is seeking a Billing Specialist to support specialty freight billing operations. You will review carrier freight bills, identify errors or duplicates, and help ensure orders are billed accurately and efficiently.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience in audit, accounts receivable/payable, or transportation/logistics, with strong problem-solving and communication skills, and excellent attention to detail.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in audit, accounts receivable, accounts payable, load planning, or transportation/logistics.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Preferred: Associate degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze carrier freight bills for accuracy.
• Identify and proactively resolve potential billing errors and duplicate charges.
• Communicate with internal and external partners to resolve open billing tasks.
• Work with internal departments to address issues preventing orders from being billed.
• Partner with transportation providers to obtain required billing documentation.
• Ensure issues are addressed promptly and the appropriate teams are informed.
• Maintain strong quality and service levels when working with clients and business partners.
• Learn and use internal systems and technologies required for daily billing activities.
• Help improve billing cycle time from carrier freight bill through customer payment.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing billing processes and efficiency.
• Maintain clean, organized, and accurate billing information.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Freight billing, carrier billing, or transportation experience
• Experience with invoice review, reconciliation, or resolving billing discrepancies
