Kanaan Communications is seeking a full-time Billing Specialist to support our Canton, MI office. The role emphasizes accurate invoicing, data entry, and collaboration with clients, field teams, and corporate staff to ensure timely payments.

The ideal candidate will have strong Excel and Adobe PDF skills, excellent communication, and attention to detail, thriving in a fast-paced environment while supporting a culture of teamwork and service.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced Excel and Adobe PDF skills.
• Able to understand and create complex spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
• Good customer service and conflict resolution skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify and correct mistakes.
• Excellent communication with staff, outside representatives, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Create weekly Time-Material and Unit invoices for our client utilizing multiple templates in Excel and other formats. Invoices will be for labor, equipment, materials, and units.
• Act as the billing liaison between client, field personnel, the administrative team, and our corporate headquarters.
• All billing information will be data entered into various software platforms.
• Reconcile client payments and open Accounts Receivable reports.
• All other duties as assigned by management.
