Job summary

The Specialist is an integral part of Latham’s Global Finance team, coordinating the billing activities and preparing invoices in line with VAT, Solicitors’ Accounts Rules, and anti-money laundering regulations. The role is based in our Orange County, CA office with a hybrid schedule.

You will work with revenue and e-billing teams to ensure accurate billing, analyze client requests, and support the billing process with attention to compliance and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels
• Ability to manage workload and priorities to meet deadlines
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook
• Experience using financial systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze client billing requests
• Create, edit, and submit bills per firm and client requirements
• Review proformas and coordinate e-billing with teams
• Resolve billing rejections and reductions with revenue and e-billing teams
• Generate and review proformas from 3E for informational and billing purposes
