Job summary

Concurrent is seeking a Revenue Accounting Associate in Tampa, FL to support advisory fee billing and other revenue generating billing operations across custodians, internal billing systems, and advisor teams.

The role works with Finance, Operations, advisors, custodians, and partners to ensure accurate and timely advisory fee billing, payment reconciliation, and resolution of billing exceptions while maintaining documentation and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in billing, finance, accounting, or revenue operations.
• Experience in financial services or wealth management is preferred.
• Familiarity with custodian platforms like Schwab or Fidelity is preferred.
• Strong MS Excel skills and ability to analyze financial data.

Responsibilities

• Perform billing and related finance operations as assigned.
• Identify recurring billing issues and contribute to process improvements.
• Provide high-quality service with clear communication to advisors and partners.
• Maintain documentation supporting billing submissions, reconciliations, and adjustments.
• Coordinate with custodians, vendors, and partners to access billing information.
• Review data setup to ensure accurate account, advisor, and revenue details.
• Post and reconcile client payments and fee activity; research discrepancies.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and communicate account-level exceptions.
• Monitor billing results and resolve issues preventing fee collection.
• Prepare and submit advisory billing files in line with procedures and deadlines.
• Review billing preview data to identify errors prior to processing.
• Support recurring advisory billing cycles from preparation to reconciliation.
