Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an AR Billing Specialist to maintain accurate billing records, process payments and adjustments, and communicate with customers. The role supports the AR follow up team and collaborates with various departments to resolve billing issues.

Eligible candidates will have 2–3 years in billing or finance, proficiency in Excel and billing software, and strong attention to detail. This is a remote work position with standard full-time hours in the United States.

• Reprocessing insurance denials and submitting all necessary documentation for payment
• Maintain accurate billing records and files
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing and payment issues
• May prepare monthly and quarterly billing reports for management review

Job Summary

This position will be on the AR follow up team. Experience working with insurance carrier Blue Cross Blue Shield is extremely preferred.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No.

Licenses and Credentials

Experience: experience in billing, finance or collections 2-3 years required.
