West Bend Mutual Insurance Company seeks a Billing Representative to support policyholder billing, payment processing and account maintenance. The role requires accuracy with numbers and strong customer service in a hybrid West Bend, WI setting.

The position handles endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, audits and disbursements, with a focus on problem solving and teamwork. Training lasts about four months before full hybrid scheduling.

Job Summary

This role supports policyholder billing, payment processing, account maintenance, and customer service while handling items such as endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, audits, and disbursements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, comfortable with numbers and technology, and able to problem-solve effectively in a collaborative environment.

Work Location

This position offers a hybrid work schedule upon successful completion of training(approximately 4 months). The position will be based in West Bend.

The internal deadline to apply is 10/19/2026. External applications will be accepted on a rolling basis while the position remains open.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Summary of Responsibilities

• Supports billing of policyholders insurance premium and posting payment receipts.
• Provides excellent customer assistance to policyholders, agents, and internal associates using various channels of communication.
• Prepares correspondence and takes appropriate action with delinquent accounts.
• Responsible for sorting and processing work in the Billing department such as endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, audits, and disbursements.
• Adapts to and supports continual change.

Preferred Experience and Skills

• 1-3 years of experience in Billing
• Superior customer service skills
• Strong mathematical skills
• Detail oriented
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Problem solving skills, ability to handle issues and problems
• Proficient in the use of computer software including but not limited to Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience working in a team oriented, collaborative environment

Salary Statement

The hourly range for this position is $21.64-$27.05

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. Compensation decisions are made by West Bend and are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
