Job summary

First Choice Community Healthcare, Inc. seeks a Central Billing Representative II to manage patient accounts receivable, reconcile remittances, and resubmit denied claims.

Under the supervision of the Central Billing Supervisor, you will work on ICD-10, CPT coding and revenue coding while communicating with payers to resolve issues. Responsibilities include handling denials, performing follow-ups, providing patient service, and ensuring timely payment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years in billing/claims experience in healthcare setting or FCCH billing externship.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile, review, research, coordinate and justify changes to claim forms and submit completed claim forms to third party payers.
• Follow up on claims denials, correct and resubmit for payment; appeal denials as required.
• Research unpaid claims; contact patients to obtain necessary information and secure payments or negotiate plans.
• Handle patient inquiries and customer service issues.
• Maintain knowledge of regulations for third party payers, Medicare, Medicaid and coding formats.
