Cloudflare is seeking a Senior Director of Engineering to lead our billing platform and quote-to-cash systems. You will own the technical strategy, organizational design, and execution model for usage-based billing, invoicing, payments, and entitlements, while partnering with Product, Finance, and Legal to deliver scalable, compliant systems.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering experience with 7+ years leading engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Own multi-year engineering strategy and roadmap for billing platform.
• Leading distributed organization of engineering managers and teams.
• Coaching managers, strengthening technical leadership, improving planning and execution.
• Drive platform architecture for correctness, scalability, reliability, and auditability.
• Build systems for usage-based billing, subscriptions, invoicing, payments, and tax.
• Strengthen financial data integrity across billing, payments, revenue, ERP, CRM, and reporting systems.
• Improve reconciliation, observability, and incident response for billing-critical services.
• Partner with cross-functional groups to turn requirements into durable engineering systems.
• Make build/buy/integrate decisions across billing and revenue platforms.
• Represent billing engineering in executive forums with clear tradeoffs and status.
