Central Minnesota Mental Health Center is seeking a Billing Specialist for our Waite Park office. The role submits Medicare/Medicaid/private claims, posts payments, and resolves denials to ensure timely reimbursements.
You will liaise with patients, providers, and payers, maintain EHR data, and help set up payment plans. Requires a HS diploma, DHS background clearance, and a valid driver’s license; an associate’s degree is preferred with 2+ years in healthcare billing.
Compensation: Starting at $21.41 (Based on experience)
Monday – Friday, Day Shift Hours

The Billing Specialist is responsible for submitting accurate insurance claims (Medicare, Medicaid, private), posting payments, and resolving denials to ensure timely reimbursement. They act as a liaison between patients, providers, and payers, updating patient records and setting up payment plans.
