Shasta Community Health Center is hiring a Billing Manager to oversee daily billing operations, ensure accuracy, and drive timely collections. You will lead a billing team, coordinate with departments, and optimize revenue cycle performance.

Qualifications include an Associate degree (Bachelor’s preferred), CPC/CCS credentials, and experience with NextGen PM. Knowledge of Medicare/Medi-Cal billing in FQHC settings is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Medicare and Medi-Cal billing in FQHC environments.
• Understanding third-party payer rules and federal/state billing requirements.
• Experience with NextGen PM and 5010 EDI is preferred.
• Management or supervisory experience in a billing department.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the billing team, including coding, charge entry, and claims submission.
• Ensure accurate posting of payments and timely AR follow-up.
• Collaborate with departments to reduce billing discrepancies and improve revenue cycle efficiency.
• Provide strategic direction and prioritization for revenue cycle activities.
• Assist in budget development and maintain confidentiality of patient accounts.
