Position Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Billing & Bookkeeper to join our small but impactful team on a part-time basis. In this role, you’ll take ownership of invoicing, billing, and accounts receivable, while serving as a primary point of contact for our clients’ billing representatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Invoicing and AR management
• Accounts Payable
• Monthly accrual accounting bookkeeping (QuickBooks)
• Managing Payroll responsibilities through Gusto
• SaaS experience
• Serve as the main point of contact for client billing inquiries and work with client billing departments to resolve issues.
• Coordinate internally with the operations and customer success teams to ensure billing aligns with client contracts and services provided
• Knowledge of Docusign and Stripe for auto-pay clients
• Help improve billing processes and documentation for better efficiency and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in billing, invoicing, bookkeeping, or accounts receivable
• Excellent communication skills with confidence handling customer-facing conversations related to billing
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency with QuickBooks
• Ability to manage sensitive financial data with discretion and integrity
• Comfortable working independently in a remote or hybrid work environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with subscription or contract-based billing models
• QuickBooks certification or other accounting/bookkeeping certifications
• Based in Southern California and able to commute to Redondo Beach as needed (1–2 times/month or for key meetings)
• Part-time: 10–15 hours per week (flexible schedule)
• Location: Remote
• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience
