Job summary

Ensemble is seeking a Manager, Billing Services to support the Director, Revenue Cycle. You will lead a team of associates and supervisors, oversee daily billing operations, and resolve complex bills in collaboration with clients and internal partners.

This role emphasizes KPI reporting, staff development, process improvements, and policy updates to drive value. Some travel may be required to support client assessments, all while upholding Ensemble’s patient-first, service-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in revenue cycle management or healthcare billing.
• Experience with EMR and clearinghouse workflows is preferred.
• Knowledge of physician revenue cycle processes and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Reports on KPIs for the department and will be held to benchmarks and client standards.
• Manage daily workflow of the department; monitor progress and address issues.
• Hold huddles to train and develop team members and ensure consistency.
• Oversee progress and monitor worked accounts for quality assurance and productivity.
• Assist in strategic planning and perform ongoing process improvements.
• Comment, update and implement policies to support the vision and goals.

• This position pays between $62,500.00 - $119,700.00/ based on experience

The Manager, Billing Services, will support the Director, Revenue Cycle in the selection, direction and development of the billing department team members, and will report to the Director, Revenue Cycle. The Manager will be responsible for assisting team members with problematic bills and questions regarding billing processes and best practices. The Manager, Billing Services, will be responsible for direct oversight of a team of associates and supervisors with all decision-making regarding hiring, onboarding, training and performance management.

Essential Job Functions:

• Reports on Key Performance Indicators for the department and will be held to the standards identified as benchmarks and best practices for each client
• Manage the daily workflow of the department, monitor progress to identify trending issues and develop training or processes to address these issues
• Hold huddles to efficiently cover new or evolving training focuses to encourage and develop team members
• Overseeing progress and monitoring of worked accounts for quality assurance and productivity measures
• Assists in strategic planning and performs ongoing process improvement evaluation
• Comments, updates and implements policies and procedures to support the vision and goals
