Job summary

CFS, a world-class sports and entertainment organization, is seeking a Billing Manager in New York City. This role leads a team of five billing professionals, owns the full billing cycle, and ensures accurate invoicing, collections, and AR metrics in a hybrid NYC environment.

You will partner with senior finance across multiple divisions to drive process improvements, system enhancements (Salesforce/ERP), and the month-end close, positioning you for career growth in a rapidly expanding company.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of billing and accounts receivable experience.
• Experience in sports, entertainment, agency, or related environments preferred.
• Trust accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Prior team leadership or billing management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of five billing professionals.
• Oversee the full billing cycle, including invoice preparation, review, distribution, and compliance.
• Manage accounts receivable activities, collections strategies, write-offs, and aging analysis.
• Support month-end close through reconciliations, accruals, and reporting activities.
• Partner with business leaders across multiple divisions to resolve billing and collection issues.
• Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and operational efficiencies.
