Steinberg Diagnostics in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Billing Department Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations, staff support, and workflow management.

You will coordinate training, handle inquiries, enforce policies, work with PPO networks and payers, and ensure CPT/ICD-10 coding accuracy across systems. Prior billing experience and RCC/AAPC certification preferred; on-site role with strong leadership expectations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of coding experience in medical billing.
  • Radiology Certified Coder RCC or AAPC certification preferred.
  • Experience with Intergy or similar billing software required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the billing department.
  • Support staffing, training, and development of billing staff.
  • Resolve customer billing inquiries and complaints professionally.
  • Enforce billing policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with PPO networks and TPA payers on contracts and reimbursements.
  • Ensure CPT and ICD-10 codes are current in all systems.
  • Coordinate with credentialing for provider IDs.
  • Monitor processes for accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

Salary Range: $80,000.00 To $90,000.00 Annually

**Onsite position**

SUMMARY: Assist in the oversight of the day-to-day operations of the billing department; including but not limited to staffing, training and customer complaint resolution. Implements and maintains policies and procedures. Interacts with PPO Networks and TPA Payers on contractual issues, education of codes, and reimbursements. Ensures CPT and ICD-10 codes are current in all systems. Works with credentialing office regarding ID # for new radiologist. May perform other job related duties as necessary for the efficient operation of SDMI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily oversight of billing department operations, including staff support and workflow management
  • Support hiring, training, and ongoing development of billing team members
  • Address and resolve customer billing inquiries and complaints in a timely, professional manner
  • Implement, maintain, and enforce billing policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with PPO networks and TPA payers regarding contracts, reimbursements, and coding education
  • Ensure CPT and ICD-10 codes are accurate and up to date across all systems
  • Partner with the credentialing office to obtain and maintain provider ID numbers for new radiologists
  • Monitor billing processes to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support departmental and organizational operations
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred
  • Prior experience in medical billing and collections preferred
  • Radiology Certified Coder RCC or AAPC
  • 3-5 years coding experience in all modalities
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • No CMS disqualifying events
  • Experience with Intergy (or similar billing software) preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding standards
