Job summary

Whaley Foodservice is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to support service billing and invoicing. You will review documentation, ensure accuracy, prepare invoices, and monitor queues with cross-functional collaboration across branches and Finance.

The role requires careful data entry, problem solving, and responsive customer service to resolve billing items on time in a multi-location service environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with 2+ years in billing or AR support.
• Experience reviewing documentation, data-entry, and discrepancy resolution.
• Strong data-entry accuracy and proficiency with common business applications.
• Experience processing service invoices or supporting AR operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review service calls and documentation for billing readiness and accuracy.
• Prepare and submit invoices within established timelines.
• Monitor billing queues and resolve delayed or disputed items.
• Research discrepancies and obtain missing information from branches or customers.
• Maintain records of invoice activity and follow-up actions.
• Collaborate with branches, service operations, and Finance to ensure accuracy.
