Job summary

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in billing or accounting, strong communication and analytical skills, and proficiency with Raiser's Edge and Financial Edge in a healthcare nonprofit setting. This is an on-site Ohio position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum two years of billing or accounting experience.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a changing work environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with insurance billing and terminology preferred.
• Strong analytical and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage billing and collection activities.
• Prepare journal entries for billings and revenue-related transactions; assist with other journals.
• Reconcile month-end billing and aged balances; provide supporting documentation for audits.
• Maintain credentialing and payer enrolment tracking;
• Communicate with providers and payers to obtain information and resolve enrolment issues.
• Collaborate with finance to ensure payer requirements are met and reported to leadership.
