The ideal candidate has medical billing experience, knowledge of EMR and billing software, and proven ability in insurance, Medicaid and private-pay follow-up and timely collections.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years previous medical billing experience required.
• Experience using EMR and billing software required.

Responsibilities

Center for Change is seeking a motivated performer to join our Business Office team as an Accounts Receivable Billing Coordinator. We are looking for a dynamic individual with knowledge of medical claims reimbursement and collections experience. This position is full-time (40 hr/wk) located in office at our Orem, Utah facility. This is a fully onsite, non-remote position.

Center for Change is a healthcare facility dedicated to helping individuals recover from eating disorders, including anorexia and bulimia. The Center is respected for its programs, progressive outlook, and for its major contributions in research and treatment in the field of eating disorders.

Essential functions:

• Claims billing, follow-up and timely collections of Insurance, Medicaid and private pay patient accounts for multi-site healthcare facilities
• Charge entry and deposit posting
• Other duties as assigned, with or without reasonable accommodation, to assist in maintaining quality standards and presenting the facility as a successful entity

Qualifications

• Proficiency with English written and verbal communication
• Understanding of medical billing standards required - experience with high volume collections highly preferred
