Job summary

University Health is seeking a Billing Supervisor to oversee daily billing operations for multiple departments, including the Operating Room, MARC Ambulatory Center, Cardiac Cath Lab, and Emergency Center. The role focuses on supervising billing staff, data entry, and ensuring accuracy by resolving hold-bills and billing errors in collaboration with clinical departments.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of third-party billing or collections experience and prefer supervisory

• Supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily review of billing for the Operating Room, MARC Ambulatory Center, Cardiac Cath Lab, Emergency Center, Trauma Code III, and other clinic/department areas.
• Supervise billing activities and data charge entry.
• Review hold-bills and coordinate with departments on billing errors and information requests.
• Report progress on key indicators to staff and manager on a regular basis.
