Job summary

Paychex is seeking a Senior Collateral Risk Manager to lead a risk analytics team focused on Billing and Collateral aging audits. You will guide day-to-day workflow, drive process improvements, and ensure accurate, compliant funding decisions across our client base.

The role requires banking/finance experience, MBA/CPA preferred, and a passion for risk mitigation. This hybrid position offers in-office training and flexible work arrangements across Ohio locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting preferred.
• MBA/CPA preferred.
• 5 years in banking/finance/accounting with emphasis on commercial credit.

Responsibilities

• Advance Billing department transactions to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
• Monitor billing team work queue for setups, audits and reconciliations.
• Identify and implement strategies to reduce risk of loss in deteriorating client situations.
• Create standard policies to reduce risk and improve client experience.
• Suggest new billing procedures to minimize cash exceptions.
• Participate in weekly Credit and Debtor meetings to discuss issues.
• Assist Sr. Collateral Risk Analysts with reviewing new billing requests.
