Job summary

Innovative Hematology, Inc. (IHI) in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Billing & Coding Supervisor to lead clinic and pharmacy billing, ensure claim accuracy, and drive process improvements across Revenue Cycle.

You will coach staff, manage workflows, monitor KPIs, and ensure compliance with payer requirements while partnering with Finance, IT, and clinical teams to optimize reimbursement and patient financial experience. This on-site role requires Indiana residency and routine presence at the Center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in healthcare administration, business, health information management, or related field.
• Certification in medical billing or coding such as CPC/CCS/CPB is required or must be obtained within timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and operational oversight for clinic and pharmacy billing and coding functions.
• Manage staff performance, workflow, and productivity; ensure accurate charges and claims.
• Ensure timely submission and follow-up, denial prevention, and AR resolution.
• Coordinate with Revenue Cycle leadership and other departments to support documentation and reimbursement.
• Lead quality reviews, audits, and targeted staff education.
• Analyze financial performance and drive improvements in clean-claim rates and cash collection.
