Job summary

M. J. Electric is seeking a Billing Clerk to review job costs, prepare customer invoices, and ensure billing accuracy in line with contractual language. This role supports project teams and requires meticulous attention to detail.

You will perform data entry into billing systems (JDE), maintain files, and assist with job closings while communicating clearly with internal customers and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• A basic understanding of generally accepted accounting practices.
• Basic knowledge of general office procedures and practices.
• Demonstrated multi-tasking, data entry skills, and prioritizing.
• Ability to anticipate and meet internal customer needs.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Proven communication, organizational, documentation and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent computer skills that includes experience with Microsoft Office applications.

About this Role – Billing Clerk

We are looking for a talented Billing Clerk who has a passion for quality construction. This position is responsible for reviewing all job costs and prepare customer invoices per contractual language, record sales and verify customer billings.
