Job summary

Lennox National Account Services in Fort Lauderdale, FL seeks a Billing Specialist to gather information and execute client billing, ensuring accuracy per contracts and internal controls. You will collaborate with other departments to resolve billing queries and support the Billing Manager.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, strong accounting/finance knowledge, at least three years of customer service, and proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Gather information and execute client billing.
• Ensure billing accuracy per client contracts and controls.

• Identify and communicate client billing issues to Billing Manager.
• Support Billing Manager in identifying process issues and implementing changes.
• Be the subject matter expert for the Billing software.
• Ensure processes and controls support revenue recognition.
• Provide analysis support for monthly close.

What Drives Success

Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Responsible for gathering information and executing billing for clients
• Ensures accuracy of the billing process in accordance to client contracts and compliance with internal & external controls requirements
• Works across departments concerning billing queries
• Identify, analyze and communicate any client billing issues to Billing Manager
• Support Billing Manager in proactively identifying process issues and implementing billing process changes as necessary
• Is the subject matter expert for the Billing software
• Ensure that all processes and controls are in place to facilitate accurate revenue recognition
• Provide analysis support for the financial month end closing

What We Are Looking For

• Strong accounting and finance knowledge is required
• Minimum of three years customer service

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced goal-oriented environment.

What We Offer

Compensation

This is a salaried non-exempt role. This means that employees are paid a salary and also receive overtime pay when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law). The starting salary range for this role and market is between $35 ,000 – $42,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Employees in this role are also eligible for abonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.
