Qualifications

• Three years of experience in a dispatch/customer service or accounting-related position
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe PDF
• High school diploma or GED
• Two or Four Year College Degree
• 4+ years of experience in construction accounting or related roles
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM programs

Responsibilities

• Review service work order documentation and provide billing information to account managers for approval
• Communicate with account managers and customers to request any information necessary to complete the billing process
• Review unbilled reports and act on any outstanding issues to ensure AR deadlines are met
• Submit and send invoices to customers following customer-specific billing requirements
• Communicate with customers, account managers, technicians, and other departments to collaborate on and resolve billing-related issues
• Provide updates on billed invoices that age over 30 days
• Lead monthly meetings with account managers to review, update, and follow up on aging invoices
• Become a subject matter expert on specialty customer requirements, such as using customer-specific billing portals
• Collaborate with the account management team to support customer requests for billing documentation
• Perform constant data management and use reporting tools to proactively identify and correct problems
• Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
• Use Salesforce to research customer details and work order information, and update data as needed
• Review, edit, and send customer proposals and service maintenance contracts
• Be a managing member of the BSD Correspondence mailbox
• Perform other BSD Support Team duties as needed
