Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC in Houston is seeking a Billing & Accounts Receivable Manager to own billing and AR for the local office. This role partners with leadership to improve cash collections, streamline invoicing, and enhance billing efficiency.

The ideal candidate has hands-on AR and billing experience in public accounting, strong communication and organizational skills, and familiarity with practice-management systems such as CCH or iWorQ.

Qualifications

• Hands-on billing and AR/collections experience with direct customer follow-up.
• Public accounting firm experience required; regional or smaller firm backgrounds welcome.
• Strong communication, organization, and practice-management-system skills (CCH, iWorQ or similar).

Responsibilities

• Oversee billing activities: invoice prep, accuracy, timely processing.
• Manage AR and collections with proactive follow-up on balances.
• Monitor AR aging, resolve discrepancies, improve payment timelines with stakeholders.
• Coordinate offshore resources and collaborate with local admin team.
• Identify opportunities to streamline billing processes and strengthen collections.

Billing & Accounts Receivable Manager – Key Responsibilities:
