Freelance freight forwarding or CargoWise familiarity is a plus, with potential for one position to convert to permanent based on performance. Typical duties include invoicing, billing follow-up, and collaboration with operations to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post customer invoices accurately and timely.
• Monitor billing activity and follow up on outstanding items.
• Review daily RAFT activity and identify payables/receivables.
• Maintain and follow up on claims, queries, vendor disputes, and client billing disputes.
• Research billing discrepancies and coordinate with Operations, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain supporting documentation related to billing, AP, and AR.
• Assist with month-end billing activities and financial reporting.
• Escalate urgent payments and billing matters as needed.
• Provide accurate status updates and comments in applicable systems and reports.
• Work closely with Operations to obtain missing documentation and resolve billing questions.
• Identify recurring billing issues and elevate opportunities for process improvement.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
