Jackson Lewis P.C. is seeking a Billing Appeals Manager to lead a 10–12 person team responsible for maximizing revenue recovery through billing appeals, audits, and reductions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of legal billing, appeals, revenue management, or invoice auditing experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of direct people management experience in appeals, auditing, legal billing, or revenue cycle.
• Experience with insurance carrier audits and outside counsel guidelines.
• Strong knowledge of legal billing and appeals processes.
• Experience with Aderant, BillBlast, Intapp Time or comparable legal finance systems preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 10–12 Billing Appeals Specialists and oversee appeals processes.
• Drive recovery via persuasive narratives and documentation.
• Monitor performance metrics, deadlines, and reporting; implement improvements.
• Collaborate with attorneys, billing teams, and clients to maximize recovery.
• Ensure compliance with client guidelines and carrier requirements.
